You teach stuff BTech is assigned for.
I am not IITian Btech but I am sure if it is really taught in IITs anybody would forget about placements.
I think they will atleast finish Phd from there or leave the institute in 1st semester itself.
Instead they all choose to go outside where there is nothing.
That package is just an illusion guys.
NIT also same thing. Low IQ doesn’t mean Low grades.
And schools are also stupid.
They don’t teach stuff that will get you to IQ suitable college.
If all coaching institutes are closed or make stuff free, there would not be any coaching institute other than the Institutes of National importance.
Then it is obvious to ask where would the coaching students go.
I would say to the group they belong as they anyhow don’t fit in fit G or any other G.
There is law of diminishing return in economics.
It states after certain limit more raw material doesn’t equal more products.
I feel the govt responsible.
Just like black hat SEO agencies, coaching institutes are pseudo employees of Govt.
They justify their fee by comparing it with paid seat.
Honestly if I am really interested in a subject I would prefer to avoid coaching and pay the the institute directly to learn.
And If I am really interested chances are I will get a good seat just by giving Entrance Exam.
Private college can be a hub just for IT sector.
Atleast your computer centres have some utility like Online Exam centres unlike Free teachers.
Now the question arises. Coaching institutes and Private College will go bankrupt?
Let them go away. Just like black hat SEOs needs to go away.
Yes absolute apathy is required. Student suicide is because of coaching only.
So my judgement is fee hike is good if
1.)Some scholarship is gauranteed for performance.
2.)Most of the IIT Btech convert to Mtechs and Phds.
Otherwise not.
