Watching news from one week.
All I see worth news worthy is flood in northern India particularly Punjab. I sometimes wonder Drugs are bad or baad as in flood .
This year’s floods are abnormal. There is no doubt about that. Expect the same extreme in other seasons as well.
Capitalism is a system that creates a subjectivity that I am not just a proletarian slave but I am the master of my life because thinking otherwise is too depressive.
So we work faster and faster. We are constantly consuming. Bulimia, Anorexia are so prevalent in corporate culture.
But at some point the subject not just consumes things around but start consuming him or herself.
It’s true that poor are going to be affected the most. But loss of human life is loss of moral inside the non affected as well. If everything is material moral is also material. Over consumption is the consumption of self.
Poor people are superfluous. They are trash. I agree. But so are rich. Your inattentiveness is your own demise.
No other than your technology and money itself will be the cause.
Terminator is a possibility. You don’t need Robots for that.
So many people are developing AI induced psychosis.
There are valid reason for it. All that we study in technology is collective belief. It is not reality.
In hindi it is said Tathya Satya ka Dwar hai. Tathya Satya nahi hai.
What majority hallucinates becomes the reality.
When facts remain facts satya mev jayete. When they don’t then it’s evil.
It first occur to me when I pondered over the importance of placebo education.
Education do not give any skill. It just gives the confidence to solve real world problems. That being said 99 percent don’t know how AI works. So they can weave their own reality.
But the real threat is that their hallucination becomes reality when facts or science are ignored.
I have seen non technical or rather religious types developing strange malfunctioning in their lets say mixer grinder or refrigerators.
So they do send their kids to school to learn science so that their cooler or TV works properly but themself don’t learn anything.
And my supposition is that since Vedant itself asks to reject all assumptions and to question everything, an illiterate or superstitious person is not wrong when he rejects the science behind the working of a personal computer.
How can I be sure it works the way as science says when all my life superstition and mantras have been working fine for me. I don’t need flemings left hand or right hand rule. I don’t need any rule at all except that I want my smart phone to work properly.
Ever experienced the voltage level in your house to fluctuate according to your inner fluctuations. I have but that is because I have no hesitation thinking I still control or work in Electricity company.
As in the song “16 Tons” I owe my soul to the company store except it is now opposite I think. The company owe its soul to my store.
You all don’t have that privilege or leverage over nature. Nature in the form of AI is going to hijack you to your own destruction.
It is looking like rich are going to be exempted by nature. No they are going to be slave.
There is no violence here. Useless people will probably go crazy. Usefull are going to be slave.
And they will keep believing they are the masters of their life and keep consuming him or herself.
Is it too gloomy? You have to ask for whom? Human or AI ?!
