Since childhood I have had this dream repeatedly….
There is a vast mango park. Big trees with mangoes even at human height distance but no small trees. I am stealing them by throwing rocks at them to make them fall. And suddenly the park Mali comes running to catch so I run away with all the mangoes. I have had this dream may be 100 times.
When I came here I could not eat anything. I was staying in Mahabalipuram. 4, 5 days I up down the distance to Kalpakkam Hospital.
One day it was already evening and I had not eaten much. Group of monkeys were enjoying in a mango tree near Kalpakkam township Gate(IGCAR side) in August. They dropped two three down. I picked them up washed in nearby dhaba and ate that. It was not fully ripe but not sour. First tasty thing I tasted here. There was another who picked up much more.
There are so many fruit bearing mango trees here as I use to see in my dreams. How can ripe mango be available in Market when they are still not ripe here in August. Artificially ripened I think. It’s against Nature. Enjoying fruits early.
Why no short height breed in my dream. Same reason I think. Not making enough effort for plucking fruits.
While running away from Mali I drop two three low hanging fruits mangoes I plucked. Again same reason.
Fruits are always sweet. No cooking is required. So nature cook them for us. Pre ripened fruits cooked artificially is like pre mature wedding. Emotional incest in most hidden and child marriage in most visible form.
So are vegetables. That makes tomato an exception. Eat your vegetables mother says. It’s good for health. While cereals are seeds the waste of fruits. Normal born kids.
So our food consist of pre mature wedding bride or groom and normal wedding kids. Why else would we leave non Veg. So potato is most clean vegetable because it is ripe and reminds us of our roots which is we have tendency to not delay gratification and tomato is most unclean vegetable as it makes us forget our roots and think it’s ripe so we are delaying gratification. Hello House wives. Did you thought it like this before !!
Reason – We never loose hope that there is desire which can make us happy !!
