Global warming is real. But not all agree with it. The situation is those who agree think they can’t do anything. Those who don’t believe in self correction of Climate. In other words a higher power. If one believe in self correction it means in a way humans can manage.

So A human God. Why else will he save you over lets say a deer or a crow.

Acharya Prashant have been ardent voice of Climate change with focus on the inner world of an individual. The problem is not physical that science can solve.

It is spiritual. When one don’t know who he/she really is he/she puts oneself very highly. Knowing oneself is not an academic type task. It is a challenging task.

It is when one see him or herself in the act and catches oneself red handed.

Spiritual people in India will never worship Krishna or Ram if they appear today in their homes.

They worship their artificial or created image. If real Ram or Krishna appears they will kill them instantly.

Ram as the general public venerate is the character RAM of story Ramayan or character Krishna of Mathura.

There are 2 problems with it.

First The characters are of millennium ago. We don’t know what people actually supported or not supported them that time. In other words how much opposition they had to face. A spiritual person will always face strong opposition irrespective of time.

Also the story tells only the good or miraculous deeds. How much they keep their popularized version like today’s celebrity? There were no mass communication model. We don’t know what they did being human the rest of the time.

If one will look at the life of those characters closely like as one does in Tv shows like A day with blah blah celebrity one will find nothing special and even offensive things. Nobody is perfect. That’s why human? Right saaaaar.

God even with supernatural strength had to attend other calls of nature as well. Only when they left, people knitted so many stories and incidence associated with them. When they were present Let’s say Krishna maximum India that was aware or knew about him would have been Mathura and Dwarka. Similarly Shiv before going south would have been an oblivious name to people there. Ram would be a name known only to Ayodhya of kosala kingdom. But he remained in forest for 14 years.

No communication. Do you think his subjects remembered him daily?

He was an idol of sacrifice.

Does anyone know their alone time?

They must be the most hated characters of their time. But we only know about their devotees.

Kali Yug may have been predicted in calender. But Kaliyug is inside. The acceleration of all this in observable universe to its own destruction. The destruction is a continuous process. So Kaliyug is in some sense all Yug. But its pace may be different in different phase cycle of civilization.

So whatever is destructive is because of Kaliyug. There was a Kaliyug in Hitler times. There is a Kaliyug now as climate changes.

By 20250 the climate change industry particularly hvac is predicted to have 10 times sales as present. 0.5 degrees rise will be solved by cooling(AC) solutions alone. There would be 400 to 500 Crores of AC unit. So 1 AC per two heads. Its waste disposal will be a compounded problem.

So you see science cannot solve global warming. Otherwise cars 100 years ago were much more polluting than present. Why did the emission rose? All may buy a hybrid but manufacturing a hybrid or anything is a carbon footprint.

Its like bringing an extinct species alive by extermination 100 other species.

Levels of desires

All our desires are physical.  Food Fight and Fuck the three Fs determine all our desires. There is nothing outside it.

But based on how it is dealt with it is given three names or status.

First is Pakhand or hypocrisy.

He/She in one who says he/She is a fuckir but has just subjugated his desires in some isolated corner of him/herself. This makes him/her a hypocrite who wears 5th century clothes but drives a Mercedes and builds a fort in name of God.

Second is Purusharth

These are society born ambitions. Doctor, Engineer etc. It solidifies the existing structure of society so there is no limit to consumption.

Third is Adarsh

This is the name given to desires that have been idealised. The problem is it becomes bigotry as time passes.

The best is Shreye or good deeds that happens with real Krishna or Ramas. They are never protocoled.

Big Politician, Actors, Google are not Shreye. They are Adarsh.

So a person should first of all acknowledged the desires and not subjugate or treat it like untouchables. Subjugated desires take form of  churches and temples of Adarsh not of Shreye or actual stuff. How else do you explain IIT suicides.

Same desires is chi chi on lowest level and just the same is some Adarsh on another level.

To be really spiritual first one have to dishonor these Adarsh or Celebrities of Adarsh at least within if not in public.

It is the most crucial step. Whosoever you idealized should loose the space occupied within you and whoever is beneath should get a helping hand from you.

Now Let me scare you with some facts.

120 Crore people are going to be directly affected by Global warming.

When Glaciers melt the viruses buried beneath them will get free or enter wildlife. The next pandemic may be due to Glaciers melting.

Deforestation leads to more deforestation through wild fire because trees are not there to give shades.

Even with 1 degree rise, many plant and grass will dry out. The whole food chain will get wiped out from places.

Human brain evolved for certain temperatures and conditions. If those conditions are not met it will stop functioning normal. Imagine the compund effect for whole humanity.

Richest 1 percent emit as much CO2 as 2/3 of world population. Get rid of those and climate problem will be solved but you will not dethrone them because you buy their product.

They will be the least affected by Global warming. They are the ones who adopts climate change denialism because they have the least stake in it.

The emission graph and income inequality graph is just photocopy of each other.

But earlier I said problem is spiritual not scientific then why am I highlighting scientific facts.

Because once you acknowledge your base desires and rejects Adarsh you truly become spiritual.

Consumption is basic desires turned into other desires. They all are that chi chi desires only. So minimalism conceptually is ok except when treated as Adarsh.

Since one comes with preprogrammed desires one also have preprogrammed way of fulfilling them so one even without intention is bound to play the part.

But as a human and spirituality holding some value to the human one has to understand nothing is outside the purview of society. A politician probably knows the same thing as the scientist but his/her molecules and atoms are people.

We have just categorized and given names to stuff. But science particularly actually forgets that whatever abstraction they come up with is derived by mind.

It means the three Gunas or the qualities of Nature affect each other. True liberation is when one do not identify with them and get influenced by them.

To elaborate

Tamsa or inertia is a Gunas of ignorance. But sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Similarly Rajas is passion or activity. But passion for what? Even a serial murderer has passion.

Satva is the goodness or purity. But it does not mean cutting off from impurity all together.

You are not doing anything. All is acting on its own. When you transcend them you don’t become above them but become the drishta or the observer and just journey with the flow.

It is when there is false Ego or controller that one gets stuck in one Gunas. Be it Tamas Rajas or Satva.

Planet may be self correcting. But when humans are the ones that needs to be corrected how else with Prakrati manifest or express itself.
